What has been your hardest session ?

We were at our 9am Ladies strength and tone session out at Glass House sports club this morning and the discussion came up about Sammy’s cardio sculpt Monday night session. Everyone got a good work out, and I think some got a bit of a working over ! It got me thinking, what has your hardest session to date been that you were thinking ” I can’t do this, I can’t do this !”  and then when the sessions over you end up saying ” I can’t believe i did that ! ” ( and it feels awesome by the way ! )

So, what has been your hardest session that you came, saw and conquered !!??!!

I was buggered and out of breath looked at my watch and we’d only been going 10 minutes!!! I thought Oh my God I’ll never last the hour…..but I did! I had a great night monday, met very motivating people, rekindled myself with muscles that sooo haven’t been worked in a while and I look forward to the weeks ahead. Thanks Sammy, definately the hardest session I’ve conquered in a long time, it was great and thanks to the group for the motivation during the session.

My hardest session was probably running up Wild Horse mountain with Seb and weights held above our head !!! The session I laughed the most at was probably the Noodle Bash game with Alyce !

My hardest session was this afternoon with Seb and Pete, making us run up and down that stinking hill lifting a medicine ball above our heads – 3 times. Then after doing a whole heap of other stuff lifting weights and medicine balls making us do it again even faster. I didn’t know if I was going to throw up or cry…and Pete was smiling!! If they only knew the torture I had planned for them…in my head. But I survived, and I am suprisingly feeling pretty good now ! I still hate running though! But I love the fact that I have already dropped 14cm in only 3 weeks!!

My hardest session so far was with Sammy at Glasshouse Mountains on Monday night. She really works you hard…. Nearly vommitted at the end of session. Have joined approximately 5 weeks ago and really enjoying it The sessions are fun and always different. The instructors are tough but always encouraging. Meting new people of different ages enjoying fittness has been wonderful. Remember-

Sammy’s Monday morning 5:45am session is always painfull. Two that stand out in my mind (i know Ness would agree with me here)
    1. We had to do 50 shoulder presses with 5kg weights, then run up the hill to the road and back with weights above heads, then repeat doing 40 then up the hill, then 30 then up the hill, then 20 then up the hill, then 10 then up the hill, yep 150 shoulder presses and 5 hill sprints with weights above heads-what a killer and at the end of the session too.
    2. We had to run from Alex hill to the light house and back, every 500 meters we had to stop and do 50 jump squats there and back as well as lunge the whole length of the rock wall-ouch can still feel the pain in my quads!

Rai’s night sessions are a killer. Both on a Tuesday night
    1. Having to carry a range of weights alternating 5-10Kg running/sprinting/lunging with them from Alex hill to Blue bar and back.
    2. 6 x 50 and 100 metre 100% sprints near the skate ramp, then having to sprint up to every light pole and back working our way back to Alex hill-what a sweat sess!
    Thanks guys-love it!!

Hardest session was easily a hard legs sesh at B’s with Ray and Pete! With 4 different stations for legs then some weighted walking lunges and hard sprints down Spanner Rd…I definitly felt like throwing up towards the end!! Good session B, love the challenge!!
