Mahzel and Marc Vogts, from Alexandra Headlands returned to their homeland after 8 months of preparation training. Mahzel had plenty of stories to tell about camping with lions only 50 m away, and being too scared to go to the toilet. Which by the way, was a port – a – loo carried by a native man on his back ! No one should complain about their jobs after hearing that one !
Mahzel says ” Training with Sammy in the 1 on 1′s and Sascha with the group training really helped my endurance and especially my leg and core strength. Thanks girls, you really helped me make it to the top ! ”
