What motivational style are you ?

I love watching my dogs run and play, they are a real lesson to me each and every day about staying true to yourself, and living in the now. You never see your dog worrying if Scout doesn’t find her attractive , or how she’s going to pay for her next vet appointment, or what the other dogs in the neighbourhood think of her kennel. I always think it’s a funny saying ” It’s a dogs life” because I reckon my dogs have got it pretty good, lying in the sun all day, cuddles on the couch at night and food scraps all day at random. So, I thought  I might share some of the insight that my dogs shared with me this week running along in the forestry.

Neo as a baby

Neo aka “Big Man” is not a smart man, we often like to give him voice overs ala Homer Simpson and when we go out running I don’t need to put him on the leash because he’s quite happy to hang close by me. Sometimes a little too close, just like this one time, I bent over to tie my shoes and I got a very cold wet and nasty surprise that made me straighten up again very very quickly!  Neo is an amazing creature to watch,as he gallops and leaps,  but he’s not a leader, he absorbs the energy of the other dogs. When they sprint, he sprints, when they cruise, so does he but no matter what pace – he enjoys every single minute of it.

Neo VERSUS Bull - You can pay your own vet insurance mate !

If you are a Neo style you work best with the support of others—you need a strong motivated leader who you can trust and is willing to show you the way. You are at your happiest when you can share the journey with others. Never be afraid to ask for others for help, and if they don’t listen to you the first time, whine pathetically at their door until they give in, they’ll give in eventually.

Indie the 6 year old Queen Bee Beagle

Indie is a girl after my own heart, she is the most driven and instinctive of my pack. She runs at a consistent 12 o’clock to me and she never ever gets let off the lead. The last time I let her off, we came around the corner and there were 3 massive Kangaroos she chased off into the forestry. She didn’t come back for 3 hours.  Once I let her off to do some step ups, I did 12 and looked up to see her already 30 metres away running after a wallaby. Sometimes we get calls from the Mobil servo, “ We’ve got your beagle, but come quick cos we’ve run out of sausage rolls”  Once she ate a whole packet of rat sack, ( we think a neighbour trying to protect his chooks bated her ) -  the only reason she’s alive today is because we discovered a great big green rat sack poo and got her off to the vet in time.
Indie is the one who is so motivated, so driven that she can not hear me call out to her even if she WANTED to come back. She is the one who can smell the wallabies and sounds off to the other dogs, it’s pretty cool to see how generations of breeding have created that “Release The Hounds! ” sound they make – it gives me goose bumps.

I admire Indie , either she’s playing hard out, she’s cuddling up to Pete on the couch , or she’s eating her food, neo’s food, and then she’s trying to eat the  chooks from next door. Her motto is if it moves, eat it , if it lies still , eat it and if you’re eating it , I want it. She lives life to the fullest, she listens to her instincts, she stays true to what her inner being wants at the time. and she makes no apologies for it .

If you are an Indie style you just need to take the time to realise the power you have within by setting aside time each day to meditate. You are a passionate person so you throw yourself into projects but you can get easily distracted by other things you are passionate about. The lesson for you is to acknowledge when you stray and why, and not to view your misadventures as failures or mistakes, it’s just a part of the journey. It’s what makes this roller coaster of life fun .

Cuba the 6 month old Hungarian Vizsla

Cuba is a high spirited puppy who loves to be right in the thick of the action, and if that means she has to sit on Scout’s head, or climb up Neo’s back to get the best sleeping position or begging position she has absolutely no qualms. Cuba is also high maintenance, she wants to be everywhere all at once, and when I finally let her off the lead she covers so much more ground than the other dogs, except it’s in a horizontal zig zagging fashion !
Sometimes she wants to get “there” so quickly that her running looks like a galloping turtle she is so close to the ground and pulling so hard on the chain. Her focus is so set on everything else but the task at hand, it doesn’t matter how many times I Dog Whisperer style “Ccccchhhh” her and poke her in the net, pull her back with the leash or run with a tennis racket in front of her face ( yes the humour of what I must look like isn’t lost on me )

Then we come back home and she’s so exhausted she doesn’t care if you never say the word leash again, she’s out like a light!

If you are like Cuba, it pays to keep your head up and focused on your end destination and remember why you want to be there. Don’t get distracted by all the wonderfully tempting fetid delights you come across along the way  you will save time, money and energy if you just consolidate a little. You might have subscribed to the “No Pain No Gain” dogma in the past, and it’s time for you to realise that just because you’re pulling on that collar so hard you’re almost asphixiating, it doesn’t get you there any faster. Give yourself a little bit of encouragement, to stay the path and to be patient, if you focus on the process the results will come.

Scout the 5 year old Beagle and Pete enjoying a beer

When I go running with Scout, he insists on running out at a 5’oclock angle as far away from me and everyone else as possible. But there gets a time where it does not matter how much I yell, scream or shout—he would rather let me drag him along the ground than keep up . He will not miss out on smelling all those deliciously intoxicating smells. Sometimes he just stops dead in his tracks and locks eyes with me and starts pooing,  (a subtley which isn’t lost on me ) then as I’m gagging on his poo vapours in disgust, he walks past me nonchalantly, winks his little date at me and it’s like he’s saying to me  “ Cop that sweet’art, Suffer in your jocks! ” ( Yep, i’m pretty sure Scout has a cockney accent )

So out of necessity I let Scout off the leash and he will stay in the one spot until I am 100m away but as soon as he realises he’s been left behind; He will sprint his little legs off, way faster than I ever make him run, with the biggest smile on his face until he gets about 20 metres away and then starts sniffing again.

The best approach for you if you have a Scout’s Motivational style is if you make sure you do what YOU want, on YOUR terms. Don’t do anything just because you “think” you should, for society’s norms or for what other people will think of you. You have to tune into what is really important for YOU and your morals.

And DON’T get a trainer who will yell and shout at you because in the end you’ll just want to shit all over them.

Me hanging out with Audi and baby Neo

What motivational style am I ?

Well I’m actually all of them , at different stages of the year, of my life, I experience all of them, but I find personally the one I get the most results with is Indie’s style, – it’s also the style I get most off track with ! The point I want to make to you is , that there’s no right or wrong way, just as long as each time you approach a goal with a desired result you  take the time to get really quiet, and listen to your inner guidance.

Tips To Unlocking Your Inner Motivation

1. Review  your daily activities, what do you enjoy, wat things ould you enjoy if you were fitter ? What things would you enjoy if you had the right support ?

2. Sit Down and take some quiet time and ask yourself – If Iwas brave and I always knew what was best for me – What is the best path for me to take right now ?

3. Listen to the guidance that comes to you, what feels like you are flowing with the current, what feels like you are pushing upstream ?

4. Go With It ! Don’t fight against what you think you “should” do as it will only lead to changes for you in the short term, and have dissapointing results in the long term. Discover your own personal “pot of gold” at the end of the rainbow, it might be not needing a sarong wrapped around you on the beach, it might mean being fit enough to walk up your super steep driveway without stopping. Explore how that pot of gold feels, taste it, hold it, imagine what your life looks like being enriched with your own pot of gold, and trust me friends – you will feel yourself hurtling down the rapids of change without resistance, without effort and with great success !

My New Favorite recipes!

I have recently been introduced to food blogs! And I love reading them usually everyday people experimenting with what they can find in there cupboards which is my favorite type of cooking, as I am not very good at following recipes. Which is why I have been so slow to put up these recipes because I always just wing and improvise along the was and then forget what I have put in it.

This recipe is inspired from some recipes from wholepromise@blogspot.com

Protein balls

Makes approx 14 balls

30g serving of Whey protein powder

½ cup Almond Meal

½ cup sunflower seeds

½ cup sultanas

1tbs honey

The juice of one orange

¼ cup flaxseed / linseed meal

1 cup Puffed millet

¼ cup coconut

Put all ingredients except puffed millet. In food processor and blend until mixture is well combined and smooth.

Put in a bowl and stir in puffed millet. Sprinkle the coconut onto a plate. Using a tablespoon round the mixture into balls and roll in coconut.

Refrigerate and snack on when desired!!

 Broccoli Pesto

I love broccoli!! but I cant take credit for this one. So here is the link to the recipe

http://www.greenkitchenstories.com/broccoli-pesto/

I have made it about 3 times now and you can modify it in so many different ways you can use different nuts like cashews, pine nuts or sunflower seeds. I added a little fresh chilli for some extra bite.

It is pretty much a healthy spread you can use for anything- on ricecakes with tuna, paste on fish or chicken, as a dip with some carrot sticks, stired through pasta or quiona.

Enjoy the green goodness

Personal Trainer’s Marathon

Sorry if this seems long but I ran 42.2 kms and that is a lot to write about!

Last Sunday the 3rd of July I ran my first full marathon at the Gold Coast….. 42.2kms! Most people have been saying I am stupid or crazy….well I probably am. But I didn’t just go out there and run it I trained a lot and worked my way up to the distance.
I was thinking about running a marathon last year after I ran the half I wanted to run a few more half marathons first, but that didn’t really end up happening. In January I started setting goals for clients and decided I should also set one for myself. The best thing I did was tell everyone that I was going to run the marathon; this meant they could hold me accountable by reminding me of my goal! It wasn’t until a few months out from the marathon that I realised I needed to really get in some more kms. Every time I considered not going for a run I thought how many people I had told I was doing it and how embarrassed I would be to have to make up an excuse as to why I didn’t make it, and how many times I would have to repeat that poor excuse!
The most important run when training for a marathon is getting in at least one long run a week, some of these runs I did with the running group “Lazy Runners” which made it so much easier and more enjoyable to have someone to talk to when running for over 2 hours. Some runs I had to do myself which was pretty challenging. Once I ran from Alexandra Headlands to Bullock Beach in Caloundra-it was hard when my iphone battery died – I had no music and couldn’t call my friend to pick me up , I ended up catching the bus all the way back! I have also run all along the coast from Caloundra to Noosa, lucky the Sunshine Coast is a great place to run.

Shannan and I at the Running expo

Talking to my mum a few days before the event – I think she was more nervous than I was. She was upset that she couldn’t be there “So proud that you are about to achieve a life-goal, so many people set them and then forget …”. The event was very well organised – if you were running you could register to a site called “run with me” where my timing chip would detect where I was at different points in the race and automatically update my Facebook status. My friends and family could see where I was in the race and leave a message that would come up on the big screens set up at different points during the race. I registered for the site at the expo on the Saturday before the race. While i was typing away at the computer someone familiar started recording video messages for the same site……… IT WAS SHANNAN Ponton! (celebrity personal trainer from the Biggest Loser). I said to him “You could just do a message for me if you like”, I am sure I sounded like an excited little school girl, so I was glad when he said “Yeah of course I will and good on you for asking, what are you doing the half or full?” Me- “The full marathon, I figured if the biggest loser people could do it so could I”

I then went on to tell him that I was a Personal trainer too and he was a bit of an inspiration to me and asked if I could get a photo with him. He was very nice! I couldn’t stop smiling all day and forgot The message he recorded for me went like this “ C’mon Sam keep going, dig deep, remember what you said yesterday if the Biggest Loser people could do it you can to!” – great motivation for me when I was hitting the wall at 39km.
After drinking about 6 L of water and a lot of carbs including a big bowl of fried rice for dinner I was fuelled up for the race. I had a surprisingly good night’s sleep and woke up on race day feeling great!
I was up at 5am and walked to the start line with the other “Lazy Runners”. The Half Marathon started at 6am so we were there to cheer them on. The next hour we went by so fast the next thing I knew I was at the starting line ready to start at 7:10am, with over 5000 other CRAZY people. I was with the 4-hour pace runner , pace runners have balloons attached to their backs with different times on them. They are in the race give you an idea of what speed you should be running to make the time on their balloon.
I knew not to get too excited and go out too hard, I tried to check out the scenery and enjoy the atmosphere. The first 10km was pretty crowded as I ran down south towards Burleigh. I saw the elite runners pass us going the other way – they are incredible, they are pretty much at sprinting pace but look so efficient and comfortable. Before I knew it I was at the halfway mark – my time was 1:54 which is only 2 minutes slower than my half Marathon last year. I was on my way back towards the start line where I had left a drink with my running coach. She was surprised to see me so soon I was still with the 4 hour pacer! I had a sip of my drink and kept going – I saw Nick cheering which gave me another boost. The crowd was also great! I then started running north past Southport – the crowd started to get thinner and it was getting HOT! I made sure I stopped at every drink station and aloud myself to walk for 12 steps, mainly so I wouldn’t choke on my water.
The frustrating thing about training for a marathon is that I didn’t ever run the distance of the race before the actual race. The 42km distance is such a strain on your body and the recovery time so long that the furthest run I did was probably about 32-33kms. At the 32km mark it felt like my body just didn’t want to go anymore, the 4 hour pacer started getting further and further away, the faster I would try and run the slower I seemed to go. That’s when I had to change my mindset – I decided to not worry about keeping up with the the pacer and just keep running and finish. There was so many people stopping and walking and it would have been the easiest thing to do. But I kept telling myself if I stop and walk then I am not going to be able to say I ran a marathon!

The Photo nick took as he was yelling out to me to Sprint

I was really counting down the kms now I kept skipping through my ipod to try find a really motivational song. Other racers were cramping and throwing up on the sidewalks, I tried my hardest to just ignore them. I talked to myself a lot a when I felt a pain in my foot or hip or knee or pretty much everywhere I would have to say “ignore it and it will go away” it kinda worked. I came to the last turnaround and there were a few more dedicated spectators, they read my name on my race number all started yelling out “Go Sam” and I managed to force out a smile. One guy said “C’mon Sam you looking good”, I knew he was just straight out lying, but good on him for trying.
4 kms to go I was this time I was trying to trick myself “just going on a 4km run down at Mooloolaba I have done that before easy”. Just past the 38km point I say another checkpoint, there was a big screen. I ran over the mat and looked up to the screen, there was Shannan.
“ C’mon Sam keep going, dig deep, remember what you said yesterday if the Biggest Loser people could do it you can too!” My own little personal trainer motivation!! I got another big smile I looked around to see if anyone else had seen but the other racers were either too far away or looking to the ground in deep concentration. I got another burst of energy after that and realised it was nearly over, my clients have all heard me say when they are running “the quicker you go the quicker it will be over”. As I came closer to the finish the crowd started to get bigger again. I think marathon spectators have to be the most dedicated people to stand there for hours. At about 1km to go I saw Nick at the fence yelling “Sprint Sam SPRINT”. I was glad to hear after that the people standing beside him “gee give her a break she just ran 41kms”.
I then saw my running coach and all the Half marathon lazy runners i gave them all high 5’s. There was so many people and only one more turn then I saw the sign “270m to go and you will have the amazing feeling of crossing the line”. The guy next to me started to walk “NO C’mon” I said “270m you can make that”. I started striding out, I would like to say sprinting but I don’t think it was a sprint at that stage. I overtook all the others who had decided to walk the last bit and crossed the line! It was the best feeling. I was even happier to see that I wasn’t too far off the 4 hour mark the time crossing the finish line was 4:06 making my official time 4:04:34, and 28th (from 85 finishers) in my age group.

Thank you again to everyone for all their support couldn’t have done it without you!

Make your own snacks for the week

I always find I eat better when I am prepared, because lets face it sometimes when hunger strikes you forget about healthy foods and nutrients. So here are some things i prepared for my snacks to keep me going this week. I have been trying to find a muesli bar recipe because I like to know everything that goes into my food. It has been hard to find a recipe that isn’t full of fat or sugar. This one was one of the better ones I tried, and if you haven’t noticed by now I like to keep all cooking simple and not too time consuming.

Homemade Muesli Bars
Dry ingredients:
2C Nuts (Almonds Cashews, Walnuts, Brazil nuts)*
½ C Sunflower Seeds
½ C Pepitas
½ Sesame seeds
1C Rolled Oats
½ C Quick Oats
½ Wheat Germ
Wet ingredients:
1/3 Molassas
1/3 C Honey
1/3 C Olive oil
1/3 C milk
1 egg white beaten
Preheat oven to 160 and grease a 20x8cm baking dish. Mix together dry ingredients. In a saucepan on low heat combine wet ingredients and stir melted and mixed. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients. Press into a baking dish. Bake for 20-25 mins. Remove from oven and let them cool before cutting into desired portions, should make approx 12 bars.

You could also add ½ cup of dried fruit.
*To make it even simplier I used a seed and nut mix from “Aldi Supermarket” with all the nuts listed and Pepitas and Sunflower seeds

A great vegetarian snack. …..

Chickpea Lentil and Zucchini Patties

1x tin or 1 ½ Cups of Dried Chickpeas
1xtin or 1 Cup Dried Brown Lentials
1 Grated Zuchinni
1 Cup grated Pumpkin
1 Cup Wheat Germ
1 egg
If using dried chickpeas and lentils, cook in boiling water till soft. If using canned drain and rinse. Combine all ingredients. Roll into 7cm balls and squeeze off excess moisture. Spray a non stick frying pan with oil and put it on a high heat. Place each ball in frying pan and squash down with spatula. Cook for 4 mins on each side then put on a plate to cool. Dont worry if they fall apart a little…it wont effect the taste.

I like to have mine with a little bit of wasabi!!

Happy cooking
Sam

Rapid Fat Loss With Tasty Meals in 5 Minutes Or Less

“Forgive me for soiling myself – I’ve been extremely busy” …..

Okay, so every day I work with people who want help to lose weight,  look better and feel better – and more often than not they are struggling because they have a full plate. ( No pun intended ) They are running around like chooks with their heads cut off fulfilling their many roles in life, mother, wife, friend, employer, employee without remembering to look after themselves.  In most cases there is a serious lack of value placed on themselves to be a fully functional, balanced and healthy individual. It seems obvious that you wouldn’t put diesel in your petrol tank  so why do you make poor food choices on the run and still demand a high quality performance ? ( I am talking from experience here … notice I said “seems” obvious )

This is Linden Magee, Australian Motorbike Champion, teasing me for putting diesel in my Scooter ! The boys called me "Turbo" for months after that...dang it !

Here are some of the most inspiring women I know and three of my favourite bestest friends and didn’t I make them giggle when I shared with them a story about me giving advice to a vet who said she had no time to eat.  I retold the story, whilst stuffing myself with a fritatta , ” Well, you don’t stay at the operating table and wee yourself and say Oh shoot, sorry about that – just got too busy at work today.”

Linda Ireland, Melissa Schembri, Me, Carren Smith - 3 Of My Bestest, And Most Inspiring Friends XXOX

Eating is a bodily function. Pooing and Weeing is a bodily function. You need to make time for both, otherwise there’s going to be trouble ! Can you tell that even with all my achievements and “maturity” there is still an inner child squealing with delight when I am naughty ( she’s about 6 )  So, let’s just say it again for good measure.

Poo and Wee.

When I was little I bit my cousin Josh's back for opening up the Christmas presents too early. It gets reenacted every year, some things never change ;)

Okay got that off my 6 year old chest now : )

Anyway, back to the lesson of  my story.
When you look after your nutrition and your health FIRST,
  1. You don’t wonder where your time went today and wonder why it feels like you got nothing done.  That’s because you have better time management skills – because you can actually concentrate on your multi tasking! By the way, it’s not called multi tasking if you have 8 windows open on your computer and you’re in the middle of 4 unfinished jobs – that’s just called procrastinating!
  2. You don’t berate yourself for not being ”better’. You have a renewed sense of vigour and vitality to approach the day and you have the energy to BE the great leader, creator, and amazing mother, wife, friend that you can be.
  3. You’re not a wall flower. People refer to you in terms such as you’ve just “got it” and that there is a certain “je ne sais quoi” about you. People admire you and want to be associated with you.
  4. You have a life. You create MORE useable time for yourself, instead of giving yourself to just work, household duties, kids, partner, then flop on the couch and fall asleep in front of the tv at 8:30.
  5. You make more money. You can create more opportunities for yourself, because you have the energy and focus to act on your instincts.
  6. You look better ! You stop talking about yourself with terms like – jelly belly, fat bum, wobbly bits, tuckshop lady arms - because you think if you laugh about it, it hides how much it does affect you . Self depreciation is disempowering and take your concentration off what it is you really want to achieve.
  7. You feel better about yourself . You don’t waste time in front of the mirror, changing outfits, dissecting every part of your body, giving it an unflattering name whilst grabbing the flesh and wobbling it and screwing your face up. (No, there’s no camera in your bathroom, I just know you do it because I’ve done that too !

I could go on, but really there are many many symptoms, and really only one cause at the heart of it . Below is your hierarchy of responsibility which my fitness marketing mentor gave me a very stern talking to about . Yes, I tell this story to you with passion and direction because I too fall victim to not putting myself first.

YOU are the foundation of everything. And therefore you must put YOURSELF first and then the rest of the people in your life in the following order. When you get this right everything works. When something is off, I believe you can almost always trace it back to this hierarchy being "out of whack".

If you aren’t a business owner, you can put “Your Boss” or “Work” instead of “Your Team, but I’m sure you get the drift.  However,  most women in business look more like this

The foundation is broken. Current work structure gives too much client focus, while ignoring your own health and success, and the responsibilities you have to yourself first, your family and friends who count on you second, leaves a very WEAK foundation. Could you continue like this? I guess so... But all you need is the slightest push to send the whole thing crashing down. That's why you need to recognise the urgency in addressing this NOW and not later

I’m going to talk more about your Responsibility Pyramid later, but in the meantime please just make me one promise.

Today you will both make time to eat 3 nutritious meals, and 2 healthy snacks , 6 – 8 glasses of water ASWELL as going to the toilet.

And you will feel all the more better for it

Until then !

Bianca :)

Cuba’s story – Finding the courage to move through limiting self belief

Me at home with my gorgeous girl Audi, Neo as a pup and Indie

Cuba is my beautiful little hungarian vizsla puppy, I bought her to get over my heartbreak from losing my gorgeous doberman Audi. Vizsla’s are also called “Velcro dogs” because wherever you go – they want to be front and centre ! Cuba is in love with my Great Dane, Neo, she likes to just sit on his head and slide down – happy to curl up in whatever warm crevice she lands in .

The other week  we came home to pandemonium, my dogs were barking, the children next door were crying, and there was no little Cuba in sight. I called out to the neighbours teenage daughter and said “has something happened – where’s my puppy?” she just shook her head and said “Um, mum will tell you, she’s alive though”

My heart was in my throat when the next door neighbour came down holding a broken, and bloody, shivering Cuba in a blood soaked towel. You see next door there are 4 unruly staffies who are in a power struggle with each other, with the adult male Leroy having almost killed his adolescent son Shiloh only weeks earlier.   It was horrific to see the owner trying desperately to get the Leroy’s infamous “lock jaw” from the neck of Shiloh.

Cuba is still small enough to fit through gaps in the fence, and she had gone to play with the little girl who lived next door.  And then these dogs pounced on her each mauling her in turn, before the 8 year old boy gathered her up. But he was no match for Leroy, and he jumped up and snatched Cuba from his hands.

Cuba cuddling Neo in her red jumper

Wayne the father rushed to Cuba’s aid, and he dove into the mud, punching the dogs tough skull and was ripping apart the dogs mouth with all his might. But it was only when Wayne could feel Leroy’s skin literally start to tear off  his gums, did he finally relax his jaws about a centimetre. It was just enough to release Cuba’s skin. Wayne thought Leroy must have realised his nose was about to seperate from his face, and it was enough to take his concentration off Cuba. It was actually her red knitted jumper in the photo that saved her life, Leeroy’s teeth had become entangled in the wool so they were able to get Cuba out of her jumper. One more chomp Wayne said and Cuba would have a hole instead of a chest.

We raced to the Pet ER and they pumped a saline solution through the holes in her neck and chest, Cuba screamed in pain and I cried as I saw the solution enter the hole in her neck, and then flow right through to the bottom of her chest. The vet said she was very very lucky, and that because of her age she would be a very timid dog from now on and she’d need a lot of extra socialisation.

Lucky Cuba didn’t understand Vet talk.

Within 2 days Cuba was running around with the rest of our dogs, and telling the staffies off through the fence. She even had a go at the Shetland ponies across the road !

This had a profound impact on me, imagine if we didn’t take notice of the labels that others ( or ourselves ) put on us. Imagine if we didn’t let past painful events dictate how we acted in the future. Dogs have an amazing ability to “live in the now” and do exactly what they need to do to make themselves happy and fulfilled.

So even if your situation feels like the jaws of a Staffy crushing down on your chest, it might be your busy schedule, it might be your family, it might be your business – there’s always something in the universe working towards pulling those jaws open and giving you a reprieve. No matter how tiny, you can always turn yourself towards a better feeling feeling. There can be relief – it’s up to you to search for that tiny centimetre and act upon it .

So that’s what I want to extend to you, no matter what preconceived ideas you have about yourself. I’m a mum/business owner/hard work and I’m just too busy to look after myself properly.  Or I’m too unfit/unhealthy/lazy/useless/unmotivated and I’ve failed too many times in the past to bother about making a difference to my health and fitness.

If you’ve said those words to yourself – I want to say to you that when you look after your body and your nutrition first, you always feel better and it makes any situation more bearable. It’s physiology – it’s just the way we were made. If it’s time for you to make a change then reach out and talk to me about our nutition coaching or one of our exercise programs – and in no time at all you might be just like Cuba, running around joyfully and demanding Shetland ponies tell you who the hell do they think they are !
